BOOK DONATIONS

To develop a distinctive collection and enrich resources to support academic research, as well as to provide more convenience for readers, the National Taiwan Library warmly welcomes your book donations.

[Guidelines for Donation of General Books]

Donations are primarily accepted for newly published books from the past five years (excluding special collections), with a focus on the following fields: Taiwan studies (including Indigenous Peoples and local education), Southeast Asian studies, as well as resources related to disability studies, special education, and age- or audience-specific services.

[Guidelines for Donation of Historical Taiwan Materials]

This broadly refers to materials related to Taiwan that were published before 1950. These materials include publications, research reports, conference proceedings, theses and dissertations, local gazetteers, historical photographs, maps, manuscripts, genealogy books, ancient contract documents, and audiovisual materials.

[Donation Methods and Contact Information]

In-Person Delivery:

During library opening hours, please bring donated books directly to the circulation counter in the first-floor lobby and hand them to the on-duty volunteer. Kindly leave your name, address, and other contact information so we can send you a thank-you letter.
