Youth reading area

There are about 5,200 books in Chinese and western languages on display. The contents of the books include: reading methods, spiritual growth, career planning/interpersonal relations, popular science, sports/health, history and geography, biographies, language learning, classical literature/writing, prose essays/poems, Chinese novels, translated novels, art/design, other recommended books, foreign language novels, and other topics.

Digital reading area

There are 3 computers for readers to use the library’s collection inquiry system

Dedicated notebook area

Six seats and power sockets are provided, so that readers can bring their own laptops for Internet access and word processing.

Award-winning book area

Approximately 3,600 different kinds of award-winning books from Taiwan and abroad are displayed. Domestic awards such as Good Book for Everyone, Openbook Good Book Award, Golden Comic Award, Golden Tripod Award, etc.; foreign awards such as the Nobel Prize for Literature, Western Australia Youth Book Award, Pulitzer Prize and Hugo Prize, etc.

Theme book exhibition area

Themed book fair designed for young people’s reading habits and interests.

 

Terms and Conditions

  1. Award-winning books and youth reading area: displaying library resources suitable for reading by teenagers and the general public. Notes for book borrowing:
    ※All books with green labels can be circulated.
    ※Please go through the borrowing procedures at the counter on the 1st floor.
  2. Digital reading area: The computers in this area are only for use of the library’s collection inquiry system, and no Internet service is provided; if you need to access the Internet, please go to the Information Inquiry Area on the first floor.
  3. Dedicated notebook area: only for readers who bring their own notebook computers for Internet access and word processing. Those who do not bring their laptops should change to another seat.
  4. Do not study or eat or drink in this area.
  5. Please speak softly.
